Wan and Bor had a solid plan – purchase a beautiful apartment at The Lanes but use it as an investment property.

After three years living at Enclave, their experience living in West End and a Pradella community convinced them to change their plans and keep The Lanes apartment for themselves.

Already familiar with Pradella’s premium quality, Wan said moving to West End had completely changed her perception of apartment living.

“We moved here for the school catchment,” she said.

“I was always worried coming from a big house… I thought I couldn’t do apartment living. But there’s no going back. I love West End, I love Pradella, and I love the apartments.”

For Wan, the appeal extends beyond the apartment itself. It’s about living in a connected community that’s close to everything her family needs.

“I guess the community is a big factor,” she said. “It’s also close to the shops and amenities which is handy because I do catch a bus to work.”

“I love owner occupied buildings as well.”

With two children, Wan and Bor are looking forward to becoming part of a neighbourhood where families can connect and children can grow up together.

“There’s just lovely neighbours… lots of kids as well.”

When asked what she would say to someone considering buying at The Lanes, Wan didn’t hesitate.

“I think they should go for it.”

She believes West End continues to be a suburb with strong long-term appeal, whether buyers are looking for a place to call home or an investment.

“West End is definitely a growing suburb and definitely a good investment as well, if you’re not buying to live in. Which is what we were thinking at first, but now we just love this area and are so keen to move in.”

Wan also praised the support she received through Doug at Position Property.

“Not only did he help us through these two processes because we purchased through him at Enclave, but we’ve built a very strong relationship as well,” Wan added.

“He always takes all my silly questions and he even introduced us to the best lawyers for conveyancing because we have had some issues in the past… we have been working with Doug closely and truly believe he’s the best agent.”

For Wan and Bor, the move allows them to continue enjoying the West End lifestyle they’ve come to love while putting down roots in a premium community that already feels like home.
