Lord Mayor’s Lighting of the Christmas Tree
The countdown is on! Join Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner to celebrate the start of the festive season, as Brisbane’s iconic Christmas Tree lights up King George Square with dazzling performances for the whole family.

The Christmas festivities in West End are kicking off with a bang! Head down to Davies Park for an evening of live entertainment, delicious food stalls, and the chance to meet Santa himself. This is a must-attend for locals and a perfect way to shop for unique gifts while soaking in the Christmas spirit.

Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols – Riverstage and Roma Street Parkland
The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols is a night bursting with live music, iconic voices, and a whole lot of sparkle. Experience your favourite Christmas songs in a dazzling live show filled with fun and celebration.
With plenty of surprise moments and sing-along classics, this is the ultimate feel-good event to kick off the festive season. Gather your friends and family and get ready to sing, dance, and celebrate.
The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols will also be livestreamed by Channel 9 from Riverstage into Roma Street Parkland, allowing more visitors to share in the magic of this event.
